Hospice Advantage, Inc. today announced its acquisition of Gulf Coast Hospice, LLC of D’Iberville, Mississippi. This marks the third in a series of acquisitions that have positioned the Michigan-based hospice as one of Mississippi’s largest providers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Since July 1st, Hospice Advantage has acquired 9 free-standing hospices throughout Mississippi including an inpatient facility in Madden. Other agencies are located in Magee, Hattiesburg, Jackson, Southaven, Tupelo, and Vicksburg,
With nearly 150 full-time employees throughout the state, Hospice Advantage President Rod Hildebrant expressed that “We truly look forward to continuing to add to our ever-growing presence in Mississippi and contributing to the vitality of the economy throughout the region.” He added,“Hospice provides so much for the community. In addition to caring for those at the end-of-life, we are able to provide jobs, good wages and benefits in the communities we serve.”
