Siena Heights University’s first ever home football game will be played on Oct 8th on the new state-of-the-art FieldTurf Revolution synthetic turf system. Not only will SHU be launching a new reinvigorated football program with the most advanced synthetic turf on the market today, they will also be unveiling the revolutionary BSS 2000 track and field surface from Beynon Sports Surfaces. For the first time in their storied history, the Saint’s athletes will be able to compete in front of a home crowd when they host the inaugural Don Kelinow Invitational in April.
“No one has ever gotten to see our kids compete,” said longtime SHU track coach Tim Bauer. “That’s been the hardest thing for me. We’ve had a good program, some good kids, some Olympic guys, and nobody got a chance to watch them compete. We’re excited to host some meets and let everybody see what we’re about.”
