Absolute Storage Management, Inc.’s traffic on its website was low. At the same time, Absolute Storage’s facilities were benefiting from the web, as they were gaining strong leads from StorageFront.com, a self storage marketing directory.
That’s what made Absolute Storage’s recent partnership with WebWorks a perfect match. WebWorks is owned by Red Nova Labs, the company that also runs StorageFront. WebWorks redesigned and developed a new site (absolutemgmt.com) for Absolute Storage Management, Inc., which launched last month, using enhanced technology and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies that have helped make StorageFront successful.
“We knew that applying the same methodology to our website and working with the same company that built StorageFront would yield a large amount of sales leads,” said Matt Bailey, Partner/Director of Operations. “Additionally, we knew that we’d get a higher quality website that was more user-friendly for customers and potential customers.”
The WebWorks’ team developed a simple, clean look that reflected the Absolute brand, and then went to work improving Absolute’s SEO. This included Google, Yahoo and Bing map listings for all Absolute’s 48 facilities throughout Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, as well as filling the site with search-friendly content.
WebWorks also provides its customers with analytical tools to help track their progress.
"We believe in tracking everything we do, so the new website now tracks online reservations, coupon prints, inquiries and phone calls on top of traffic, letting Absolute Storage know how many leads their new site is generating them,” said Tom Cox, WebWorks’ Web Visibility Manager.
Bailey said that Absolute’s old site had “decent functionality,” but they were not getting enough traffic. Cox and his team worked to make sure that what worked well on Absolute’s old site, such as the ability for renters to pay their bill online, was carried over and improved upon on the new site.
“We really like the cleanness and usability of the site,” Bailey said. “We also think that the administrative side of the site is much easier to use than what we previously had.”
WebWorks also added new features, including Red Nova Labs’ state-of-the-art storage calculator, which helps renters figure out what size unit they need and plan ahead for a move. Cox said that the new site is easier to navigate and designed for the renter.
“The process of designing and launching the site was excellent,” Bailey said. “Having a point person in Tom made it extremely easy to know where we were in the process. He kept the design on track and got the whole thing done in an expedited manner.”
