The Rogue Valley Manor is pleased to announce the celebration of 50 years of service to seniors in the Rogue Valley. The 50th Anniversary Gala Event for residents and special guests takes place on Wednesday, July 20th, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. on the Rogue Valley Manor campus overlooking Medford, Oregon.
The evening begins in front of the Main Manor, with a program featuring key note addresses from Congressman Greg Walden, Medford Mayor Gary Wheeler, Pacific Retirement Services Board Chairman William Thorndike, and Rogue Valley Manor Board Chairman William Leever. Manor residents who are second and even third generation will be recognized, along with some key individuals who were an integral part of the founding of the west coast’s premier retirement community.
Plenty of local wines and hors d’oeuvres will be served, and guests will enjoy live entertainment at several different venues throughout the campus. Not only is this a celebration of 50 years of history, it’s a celebration of the nearly 1000 residents who live at the Manor and serve the surrounding community day in and day out. Attendees are encouraged to take a stroll down “Memory Lane,” where hundreds of photos will be displayed, featuring Manor residents and what they were doing 50 years ago.
Additionally, for the month of July, the Manor’s own art gallery is featuring 50 pieces of artwork by 50 different residents, entitled “50 Years, 50 Art Pieces.”
