With The Stayton being an 11-story community, a sequence of floor meetings were held throughout the spring months which welcomed residents from each floor to get to know their future neighbors. Justin Spooner, executive director at The Stayton, told residents what to expect during the move-in process.
“Opening a community of this size takes a lot of manpower and coordination,” said Spooner. “By opening day, The Stayton will have the best team in place to see that each resident is moved in with ease and with as little stress as possible.”
Following the various floor meetings, a “Taste of The Stayton Neighborhood” was held at Times Ten Cellars for future residents and guests to have the opportunity to experience local flavors of the desirable West 7th location. Guests sampled food and drinks from j.rae’s, LaFamilia Mexican Restaurant, Tillman’s Roadhouse and Love Shack Burgers. All of these locations are within walking distance from The Stayton, which highlights the urban lifestyle of the community.
“The West 7th area is such an exciting and growing part of the city,” said Kerri Lambert, director of sales and marketing at The Stayton. “With so many great restaurants and shops nearby, The Stayton is in a prime location. It’s thrilling to be that much closer to opening, and already seeing our future residents excited about moving into their new neighborhood.”
