Persistent Systems, a leader in outsourced software product development services, announced today at the Enterprise 2.0 conference the launch of its Collaboration Consulting Practice. Persistent, already active in the Collaboration deployment, integration and lifecycle services space, has expanded its offering to strategic technology consulting in areas such as Collaboration Strategy, Platform Selection and Social Analytics. The launch of the Collaboration Consulting Practice establishes Persistent’s commitment to provide high value technology consulting services for its customers.
“We recently invited Persistent to lead our senior management team in an all day workshop focused on collaboration strategy. Recognizing MWV’s current embrace of Social Media as part of its ongoing PR and media, employee communication, and customer engagement practices, Persistent tailored the workshop content to reflect our company’s business goals and introduced to our leadership new ways to engage Social Media to augment collaboration,” said Don Armagnac, President MWV New Ventures Group. “This workshop helped spur an internal initiative that led to the development of an enhanced collaboration strategy for our global packaging solutions company.”
“As organizations are starting to see the business value in emerging collaboration patterns and platforms, they are looking for platform independent recommendations and best practices,” said Sanjeev Sisodiya, VP Enterprise Collaboration Practice at Persistent Systems. “Persistent’s offerings, developed while working with many customers across a variety of platforms, are an excellent fit for these needs. Our ISV heritage provides us with a unique deep technical understanding of the leading collaboration products in the market today. We focus on identifying key business processes which can benefit from collaborative enhancement and measure success by delivered business value. Additionally, we stay engaged with our customers to help keep their collaboration environment relevant and tuned as business needs evolve over time.”
At the Enterprise 2.0 conference, in addition to launching the Collaboration Consulting Practice, Persistent will also be showcasing its business process collaboration platform PaxPro. PaxPro is used by many of the world’s leading CPG companies in the packaging, pharmaceutical, beverage and beauty products industries, including MWV. It combines leading edge business process capabilities with strong collaboration features to deliver unique value in this demanding business area.
