PRZOOM - /newswire/ - Houston, TX, United States, 2011/06/14 - On June 8, 2011, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) announced that ISO 50001 the new international standard for energy management will be released on June 15 several months sooner than initially predicted.

ISO 50001 will provide public and private sector organizations with management strategies to increase energy efficiency, reduce costs and improve energy performance.
