Miami, FL, United States, 2011/05/26 - Today the company that publishes back\slash ®, the unrestrained college lifestyle magazine, announced that beginning this Fall (2011) the print version of back\slash will be distributed nationwide - BackslashOnline.com.

The free magazine will continue to be published on a quarterly basis, but now will be circulated to individual and group subscribers, as well as to students in 380 retail stores in the vicinity of college campuses across the country.
This announcement was made as back\slash celebrated the end of it’s 3rd year in circulation.
“Two years ago, we leveraged the momentum we built up by launching back\slash in Miami, to expand across the Southeastern United States. Now, I’m proud to announce that after two years of publishing a regional version, we were able to secure the national distribution deals and advertising agreements we needed in order to take back\slash national,” says Mike McCormack, back\slash’s Publisher.
The Fall issue of back\slash will hit newsstands nation-wide September 7th, 2011, and will include college-targeted campaigns from: Universal Studios, Glaspro Inc, Gasolina Beverages, and more.
"We have spent almost eight months securing the deals to make this happen," says back\slash's Senior Account Manager and co-founder Joey DiFrancesco,“and it’s an incredible milestone for us.”
This is the beginning of back\slash's full-scale national roll-out, and by January 2012 back\slash is positioned to be available to students in 550+ retail venues in more than 70 cities across the US.

back\slash is the unrestrained college lifestyle magazine. The free publication is targeted specifically at trendsetters among the college niche, and contains content relating to everything from sex, drugs, and rock n' roll, to politics, sports, and religion. Most of the content in back\slash is written by college writers attending school at leading academic institutions across the country. The full-color magazine is circulated quarterly, and enhanced by a localized bonus-book in five markets (which includes local advertising and local stories). back\slash is circulated on campus in publication bins in markets in which it is enhanced by the bonus-book.
