Smartware Group today announced that it has launched “2011 Bigfoot CMMS Webinar Series,” to help both current customers and prospective customers improve operations and maintenance of their companies’ critical equipment using its flagship product.
Starting April 6, Smartware Group will kick off the series with four webinars about Bigfoot CMMS (computerized maintenance management software) -- each presented twice over eight weeks and alternating weekly with subject matter relevant to Bigfoot customers and prospects.
Run by more than 1,400 organizations worldwide, Bigfoot CMMS manages maintenance of machines, from production equipment on manufacturing plant floors to energy and electrical power systems in convention centers and stadiums.
By thoroughly tracking the history of individual machine repairs, Bigfoot allows customers to analyze machine uptime and performance over time, and create preventive maintenance schedules rather than react to failures after they occur. As a result, Bigfoot contributes to the bottom line, as well as the health, safety and efficiency of customer environments.
The first webinar, entitled,“Why Migrating to Bigfoot Web Could Be a Big Win for You,” will benefit longstanding Bigfoot customers who have considered switching to the advanced Web-based version. It takes place April 6, 2 pm. to 3 pm. EDT, and again on April 19, 12 pm. to 1 pm. EDT. Webinar participants will learn:
- The differences between Bigfoot Client/Server and Bigfoot Web;
- Technology requirements of Bigfoot Web, including hosting options;
- Bigfoot Web’s training and implementation process;
- What the total cost of ownership will include by migrating to Bigfoot Web.
The second webinar, entitled,“CMMS ROI, Especially in Tough Times,” is geared toward prospects that want to understand how to improve operations with Bigfoot and justify the investment. It takes place April 12, 12 pm. to 1 pm. EDT and on April 21, 2 pm. to 3 pm. EDT. In this webinar participants will learn how to:
- Reduce processing and communication time regarding maintenance requests;
- Increase staff productivity as a result of better operational procedures;
- Pass inspections and audits, and the overall avoidance of fines;
- Improve equipment efficiency and capacity.
Webinars are free of charge. Each webinar is one hour long with a question-and-answer session at the end.
