GREENZYS, today’s premiere literary based, eco-friendly children's brand, encompassing books, plush toys, animated content and an interactive website, continues their success at the prestigious retailers FAO Schwarz and Ron Robinson/Fred Segal and is excited to announce their distribution expansion to over 650 retailers including Borders stores nationally in time for Earth Day. Additional mass retailers will be announcing their Greenzys plans in the weeks to come.
Renowned book retailer Borders will begin carrying the Greenzys book along with the four plush toys, Willow the Elephant, Yew Yew the Panda, Peat the Penguin and Violet the Giraffe in their Borders superstores throughout U.S. and on Borders.com beginning today, April 5.
Ron Robinson/Fred Segal will host The Greenzys First Annual Family Earth Day Celebration at their legendary Melrose Ave. location in Los Angeles on April 21st. Greenzys Family Ambassadors Ed Begley Jr., Rachelle Carson-Begley and Hayden Begley are proud to be apart of this groundbreaking event, along with other participants that include, The Honorable Antonio R. Villaraigosa, Mayor of the City of Los Angeles, John Duran, Mayor of the City of West Hollywood, The Arbor Day Foundation, The Environmental Media Association, and a celebrity green carpet featuring a wide range of environmentally conscious stars of all ages. “We’re proud to host an event that promotes education and awareness of green issues”, says Ron Robinson.
