The web portal offers e-doceo's customers the opportunity to personally drive their media creation, including the production of voice files.
e-doceo media store (e-doceo.net) is an on-line solution available 24/7. It enables the ordering, in a few clicks, of customized multimedia resources via an on-line platform. Files vocalized by Acapela voices and 3D animation are immediately downloadable from the customer’s account. Actors’ voices, illustrations, videos and other animations are available for download a few days after the order.
e-doceo media store relies on Acapela Voice as a Service (Acapela VaaS) to vocalize written content in real time. Technically, Acapela VaaS is a ‘cloud computing’ solution – a service providing on-line vocalization – which speech empowers all web applications. e-doceo connects to the Acapela VaaS server, sends the information to be vocalized, and the server automatically transforms the text into speech. This service is available around the clock and responds very rapidly, completing the process in several seconds.
Speech synthesis enables learning units, which need to be developed in several languages or updated regularly, to be quickly animated with natural sound. All written information relating to the e-learning course is converted into voice, word for word. Combined with Cantoche's avatars, long-time partner of Acapela Group, audio content comes to life, speech animating characters.
