Perceptive Software, creator of enterprise content management (ECM) products, including ImageNow® document management, document imaging and workflow, today announced a partnership with Parchment™ for their Docufide® platform. ImageNow will work in concert with the Docufide transcript delivery system by integrating with Docufide Receiver®, a standards-compliant, secure module for the receipt of electronic education credentials from K-12 and postsecondary institutions worldwide. The integration will provide more flexibility for the end user by offering an efficient process for receiving, capturing and linking documents to student records.
"Perceptive Software has a well established practice of helping higher education customers remove the pain associated with paper transcripts. Now with the added benefits the Docufide platform brings, admissions offices will enjoy even greater processing efficiencies,” said Lisa Beck, Perceptive Software’s Solution Manager for Education.
ImageNow enables users to instantly retrieve all transcript documents directly from the context of the associated record in a student information system (SIS) and eliminates the process of manually linking incoming transcripts to the appropriate SIS record. The Docufide component will speed document processing through consistent transcript document layout and format.
“Through the integration of Docufide Receiver and ImageNow, Parchment and Perceptive Software are bridging the gap between inbound admissions documents and content management,” said Mark N. Cohen, Vice President and Co-founder of Parchment. “Working together we’ll reduce processing time, automate manual efforts, and add value to the entire workflow.”
Docufide delivers transcripts to users in a consistent format and layout as a data file. The combined capabilities of ImageNow and Docufide will speed transcript processing times for higher education institutions, make capturing information easier, and improve data completeness and accuracy.
