Recently, Spatial View Inc., launched a 3D hub for everybody who loves everything 3D. It’s called 3DeeCentral, and it’s an online store of stereo 3D content where you can view content on your 3D PC, mobile or internet connected devices.
More and more companies are announcing devices to view 3D. 3D laptops, 3D TVs, 3D smart phones, and more 3D devices to follow. The biggest barrier has been the lack of stereo 3D content. Where do people get content to view on their 3D device? Well, I was impressed when I visited 3DeeCentral and saw the selection in their web store at 3DeeCentral.com!
Start by downloading the free 3DeeCentral app for either your PC (Windows 7), iPhone 3GS or iPod touch 3rd generation at 3DeeCentral. I’ve been told that the Android app is coming soon.
I downloaded the 3DeeCentral app for both my 3D Acer laptop and my iPod touch 3rd Gen. Spatial View makes an accessory called the 3DeeSlide for the iPhone and iPod touch which allows you to view 3D glasses-free on these devices. I installed the app, previewed, then downloaded some free and paid content onto both of my devices. Content genres include adventure, animation, music videos, nature, travel, sports and science fiction. Spatial View has signed up and will be introducing over one hundred titles across an array of 3D devices. The more 3D devices that come to market, the more people can enjoy 3D everywhere and anywhere – not just in theatres!
Limited Time Offer
iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 3rd generation users will receive a free 3DeeSlide when they download the 3DeeCentral iOS app from iTunes and register for a user account. It is the only content distribution system that provides 3D content for the iPhone and iPod touch, when used with Spatial View’s 3DeeSlide, a lenticular accessory used to view 3D content – glasses free. The iPhone 3G, 2nd generation iPod touch and all older devices are not supported. Support for the iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4 will be announced at a later date.
“We support 3D devices including active shutter glasses, polarized glasses and auto-stereoscopic technologies. We want to offer the most comprehensive coverage of platforms as possible, ” said Spatial View.
The company has obtained content from independent 3D filmmakers bringing the total to over 100 titles and plans to add additional titles on an on-going basis.
Spatial View is well positioned to become the recognized leader for stereo 3D content on the Internet and the ‘go-to destination’ for consumers looking for compelling 3D content.
