Palo Alto, CA, United States, 2005/06/23 - HotelShark.com, the world’s most-trusted online lodging guide, awarded its second fin to a hotel in France, and in doing so, added a section covering hotels in Amiens.
HotelShark.com gives fins to properties that are positively reviewed by guests online.
The fin was awarded to Le Macassar, a property in Corbie, just outside of Ameins proper. Amiens is in northern France, located roughly between Paris and the English Channel.
A recent guest of Le Macassar called it a “small, luxury hotel” with “modern bathrooms,” and a “beautiful formal courtyard garden.” The complete review may be found hotelshark.com Internet address.
The only other French property that has earned a fin on HotelShark.com is the Hotel des Grandes Ecoles, in Paris.
HotelShark.com awards fins to hotels that are reviewed, on the whole, positively by guests. A fin appears as a small, gray icon to the left of a hotel’s name within a given city index. The fin system gives travelers a quick way to find well-liked hotels within a given city.
A city, state, or country is added to HotelShark.com when necessary to accommodate a new review. A review is published only after a contribution from a traveler has been thoroughly researched and authenticated. HotelShark.com discards well over half of all incoming contributions as insufficient or invalid.
Neither HotelShark.com nor its parent SharkPage is affiliated with any of the aforementioned properties or their parent companies.
HotelShark.com, the site that Consumer Reports calls one of “the tricks to booking online,” is the world’s most-trusted Internet lodging guide. The site was named one of the five best travel websites by National Geographic Traveler magazine, and has been praised by the Independent (UK), US News & World Report, and USA Today. Founded in March 2001, HotelShark.com is available free of charge. HotelShark.com is owned by SharkPage, a privately held company based in Palo Alto, California.
