PRZOOM - /newswire/ - London, United Kingdom, 2010/12/08 - Telecity Group plc ('TelecityGroup' or the 'Group'), Europe’s industry leading provider of premium network-independent data centres, announces a new 9MW, 6,000 sq.m, data centre in its core Amsterdam market.

The new, centrally located, facility will be linked into TelecityGroup’s existing four data centres in Amsterdam. As such, it will become part of the city’s main internet hub, offering ultra high levels of connectivity from opening.

The new data centre, which will be TelecityGroup’s fifth in Amsterdam, will open in phases from the end of Q4 2011, underpinning the Group’s position as the leading provider of highly connected data centres in the city.
