More than 1,000 advertisers are now part of the LinkShare performance marketing network as the company continues to outpace e-commerce growth. Sales in the LinkShare Network were up more than 30 percent in the third quarter of 2010 compared to overall e-commerce growth of nine percent.
With the holiday shopping season in full swing, companies like GoDaddy.com, the world’s largest Web hosting provider and top domain name registrar recently joined the LinkShare network to grow online sales through the company’s extensive network of high quality publishers.
"Go Daddy takes great pride in our ability to provide our customers with superior service," said Barb Rechterman, Go Daddy's senior executive vice president and chief marketing officer. "We are partnering with LinkShare because we know they share this same commitment and are a leader when it comes to marketing networks. We believe this relationship will help Go Daddy both serve and attract new customers."
Using LinkShare’s performance marketing technology platform, advertisers and publishers are able to drive online revenue and create sustainable, profitable partnerships that drive online sales. LinkShare’s recent platform enhancements include a completely redesigned advertiser dashboard and mobile platform testing to ensure the integrity of affiliate tracking across a wide range of smartphone devices.
As the first U.S. performance marketing network to embrace mobile affiliate marketing, publishers can now drive mobile traffic to advertiser sites while having confidence that they are earning commissions.
To improve an advertiser’s effectiveness and return on performance marketing programs, LinkShare’s new advertiser dashboard provides greater
transparency and features year-over-year trending and overall enhanced performance.
“LinkShare’s continued growth illustrates a strong vote of confidence among the advertiser and publisher communities,” said Yaz Iida, CEO, LinkShare Corporation. “Our commitment to driving successful and profitable performance marketing programs through a strong balance of business strategy, technology investments and experience building partnerships has enabled advertisers and publishers to reap tremendous revenue gains, brand awareness and competitive differentiation.”
