The Express Insurance integrated online campaign has been built around the motorcycle sector and is aimed at engaging directly with motorbike fanatics through social media.
Tamar’s work with Express Insurance will reinforce the brand’s standing as the “first-call solution” for motorcycle insurance by reaching out directly to the motorcycling communities to build conversations, engagement and reputation.
Tamar (tamar.com) has optimised the brand’s presence on social media such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, as well as developing new content that is on brand, on message, shareable and attractive. The agency will work with Express Insurance to deliver a daily, fresh content theme that works across social media.
Express Insurance sponsors British star rider Shane “Shakey” Byrne and the campaign features unique and current YouTube footage of his rides. Express YouTube also features exclusive videos from bike racing fan and Kerrang Radio DJ, Luke Wilkins.
On Facebook, Express Insurance is hosting a photo competition, backed by Moto magazine with the top prizes including bike gear and a photo lesson with a world famous motocross photographer.
Tony Way, Managing Director at Express Insurance, comments: “Our customers know that we deliver the best insurance solutions and we want to extend that to the whole motorbike community through Tamar’s expertise in online marketing integration.”
Tanya Goodin, CEO of Tamar, comments: “Express Insurance is the ‘go-to’ brand for motorcycle insurance and they want to reach out to bike fanatics via social media. People don't get excited talking about insurance alone, but they do get excited about talking bikes. We’re delighted to be working with a brand that understands the reach of social media.”
