Which celebrities you ask, she won't tell she says because they appreciate her discretion. Since opening in 2005 Stacie Bowie has made a name for herself in the Seattle area with her beautiful cuts and colour. While Stacie’s philosophy has always centered around the cut being the foundation for any great hairstyle – and the color providing the depth for that style – it’s the infamous Bowie Blowouts and finishing work that make the women toss their hair as they walk out of Bowie Salon and Spa salon feeling beautiful, confident and sexy.
Soon after graduation from Roffler Hair Design School in her hometown of Miami, Florida, Stacie Bowie was scouted by Dave and Johan International and invited to join an artistic team in their South African salons. During her three year stint with Dave and Johan, Stacie also spent six weeks in Paris, France at the L’Oreal School where she earned certification as a colour specialist and attended the prestigious Mod’s Hair to learn advanced finishing techniques.
Stacie subsequently furthered her training at Vidal Sassoon in London, England, and upon returning to America in 1991 to join Redken Fifth Avenue in Miami as a performing artist and educator. It was during this time that Stacie began her business career, leasing out her chair for the next eight years. She later worked at various salons in Seattle as a colourist, haircutter and designer before deciding to open Bowie Salon and Spa in 2005.
