AccuRev, Inc. today announced the availability of Eclipse Plug-in for AccuRev 2010.1, and enhancements to current AccuBridge integrations. These new releases further the commitment of AccuRev as a best-of-breed tool vendor by providing developers with support for Agile methods through the best possible integrations for leading software development tools.
Eclipse Plug-in for AccuRev now enables developers to utilize the Web Interface 2010.1 without leaving their familiar Eclipse IDE. Combining Eclipse with the power of AccuRev software in a single, integrated environment increases agility, reliability and quality of the software development process. By providing a single AccuRev interface within Eclipse, developer productivity and efficiency is improved. Developers are now able to:
• Access AccuRev functionality seamlessly within the AccuRev toolbar in Eclipse;
• Streamline usage for advanced Eclipse configurations that utilize nested projects, such as within Maven projects, etc;
• Access the StreamBrowser™, AccuWork, the Version Browser, and Annotate all within Eclipse.
AccuBridge integrations now support the latest versions of issue tracking and Agile project management lifecycle tools for Rally, VersionOne, JIRA and HP Quality Center. AccuBridge integrations offer increased traceability and added functionality, both of which enhance compliance and auditing, give enterprises better infrastructure support, and support Agile methods. Each AccuBridge integration now contains stream names, in addition to stream number, thus increasing traceability and making streams easier to identify.
