D-Link, the global leader in connectivity for small, medium and large enterprise business networking, today announced a collaboration with Cymphonix®, a leader in Secure Web Gateway solutions, to combine Cymphonix XLi technology with the D-Link® Wishfi™ product line to enhance highly-targeted advertising for hospitality and visitor-based networks. Wishfi is a pioneer of intelligent and targeted information delivery methods designed to offer tailored, revenue-generating content messaging and advertising for hospitality and visitor-based networks environments such as hotel franchise locations, coffee shops, cafés, or restaurants, and executive office suites.

As users in hospitality or visitor-based networks log into the Internet, D-Link's Wishfi MediaSpace serves targeted information as part of the browser window. Information displayed ranges from sponsored advertisements to targeted internal messaging. Cymphonix XLi OS sits in-line with the browser traffic and is "content-aware," enabling a very precise match of sponsored information to the interest of the user.
