Orange Legal Technologies announced today its support for the joint defense counsel in the U.S. v. Robert Allen Stanford, et al. case. OrangeLT™ is a leading electronic discovery provider of one source litigation, audit and investigation support services for law firms and corporations.
OrangeLT™ is providing document and hosting services for the joint defense counsel in the Stanford matter. To date, OrangeLT™ has imported approximately 2.0 TB of data equaling in excess of 2.5 million documents. Due to the complexity of the case, OrangeLT™ provided each defendant’s counsel with a “clone” database to review and manage the electronically stored information.
“In large and document-intensive cases involving the migration of millions of files of all types, the government generally has a big advantage over defense teams due to the difficulty in organizing and migrating documents from the government’s database,” stated Brent R. Baker of the Securities Litigation Group at Parsons Behle & Latimer. “Orange Legal’s OneO® Discovery Platform, along with its excellent technical skills and customer service, has helped Parsons Behle & Latimer and other defense counsel to achieve equal footing with the government in the review and management of important electronically stored information.”
OneO® Discovery Platform provides an integrated, web-accessible, forensically-sound electronic discovery platform that enables online analytics, processing and review of data from the security of a hosted centralized repository.
“Being selected to support the electronic discovery efforts in one of the largest cases ever filed by the SEC is a true milestone in the growth of OrangeLT™,” said Bret Laughlin, CEO and president of OrangeLT™. “This selection is yet another indicator of growing client confidence in both OrangeLT™ and our OneO® Discovery Platform.”
