Interactive Sports Technologies™, today announced that they have expanded their operations worldwide in order to meet customer demand, further develop innovative technology and to support their ever growing dealer network.
2010 has been a year of expansion and exponential growth for Interactive Sports Technologies™ (IST™) and the brand, High Definition Golf™. The scientists, engineers and software developers continue to innovate, refine and enhance the industry-leading technology ensuring that customers will continue to enjoy an unparalleled indoor golf experience. The goal is to not only give golfers a simulator system that looks and plays like the real thing, but to continue to expand on the range of optional modules and accessories used to further that experience.
This year IST™ has introduced a new shaft flex module and software to assist professional clubfitters, club manufacturers and retail golf outlets achieve the perfect fit for their customers. IST™ also introduced live Internet play to allow players in different simulators or different locations to see and talk to each other during a game, using picture in picture technology and lightweight wireless lapel microphones. Finally, in the weeks to come, IST™ will introduce an exciting new tournament system to enable players to compete in High Definition Golf™ “Open” and “Invitational” tournaments as well as contests worldwide.
In recent months, IST™ has expanded their R&D and production facilities in order to manage the demand for the core simulator product and to test and develop new systems and unique features, found only in HDG™ simulators. Expanding the offices was also quite necessary to house the many new hires that have made a home at IST™. These include new digital imaging professionals responsible for bringing the championship courses to life, new regional sales personnel as well as a new Director of Marketing and support staff. Rounding out the mix, IST™ has recruited a number of new technicians and installers with design and construction skills in order to manage the needs of various clients including luxury home owners, golf centers, condominium complex developers, golf educational academies and various retail golf outlets.

Interactive Sports Technologies™ have also expanded their dealer network, adding dealers and referral partners in various countries including China, Japan, India as well as Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the Middle East and Australia just to name a few. Domestic growth is also consistent with new dealers and partners in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington DC and California, with many more to come.
