Direct Voice and Data is looking to treble its business turnover in two years and boost the local economy by becoming the first company in the country to sign up to become an O-bit Local Business (OLB), O-bit Telecom’s reseller partnership network.
Direct Voice and Data already has plans to employ new members of staff from the Hudersfield area to cope with the anticipated growth. The company will now work directly with O-bit Telecom to achieve its ambitious growth targets and will benefit from the voice and data network provider’s industry expertise and back office support.
“Becoming the first O-bit Local Business partner is the next exciting stage in our businesses history following our re-brand from Direct Telecom,” says Dave Henderson, managing director, Direct Voice and Data. ”We are proud of our Yorkshire roots and want to continue to work with local businesses and bring employment opportunities to the local community”.
Direct Voice and Data will take advantage of a myriad of benefits, which include access to an enhanced sales and marketing strategy, future proof products and services, and exclusive licensed partner use of O-bit’s bespoke in-house ERP (enterprise resource planning) software, Ask Merlin.
“Too many suppliers offer resellers the means to provide cheaper solutions but add nothing to the value of the business,” explains Dave Breith, CEO of O-bit Telecom. “We developed O-bit Local Business with the idea of meeting this need but also to give independent resellers the chance to have a slice of what is ultimately a £60million pie.”
