Fort Smith, AR, United States, 2010/05/04 - Umarex USA has added 360 degree product images to many of the guns listed on its site. These "drag and rotate" images give the consumer the ability to get a fully three dimensional view of the products.

In an effort to give consumers a more detailed view of products, Umarex USA has added an option to view 360 degree "grab-and-rotate" images to the description pages of several pellet rifles and replica pistols at UmarexUSA.com. These 3D images take the form of a pop-up window which allows the user to view the airgun in all three dimensions.
The fluid form of the image allows customers the ability to "spin" the image from side-to-side to look at several angles of the product. Additional buttons give the user the ability to zoom in or out, grab and move the image to get a different angle , or to rotate the image end-over-end into a different plane of view. The stunning visual effect is accomplished through a specific process that assembles photographs from many different angles into one fluid 3D flash image that users can manipulate to suit their specific interests.
Currently applied to 16 different Umarex airguns, plans are in place to add this feature to more products in the future.
