Milan, Italy, 2010/04/23 - ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) today announced that its Italy-based Motion Technologies business will supply front and rear axle brake pads for the new "Master", Renault's 3.5 ton light commercial vehicle. NYSE: ITT

ITT's Barge, Italy plant will produce more than one million brake pads, for both the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and original equipment service markets.
A dedicated ten-person research and development team developed the new product over the last two years to meet the Renault schedule.
"Through close technical collaboration with Renault, ITT Motion Technologies developed a product with high braking and safety performance that also meets environmental standards," said Salvatore Torrisi, president, ITT Motion Technologies. "As a European OEM brake pads leader, we are always focused on innovation and customer service."
ITT Motion Technologies has also worked with Renault to produce pieces for many other models including Mascott, Kangoo, Modus, Clio, Laguna, Megane and Espace.
