Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, 2010/04/20 - Data centre provider BlueSquare Data Holdings Ltd has announced record growth figures following the opening of its facility in Milton Keynes just one year ago - BlueSquareData.com.

The company’s audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2009 show the company’s turnover was over £8.4m, which represents an increase in sales of 120 per cent, and EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) of 140 per cent.
The Milton Keynes data centre was opened by the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Councillor Jan Lloyd, in March 2009 and is already 25 per cent occupied. It offers co-location services, offering businesses a highly secure environment to store mission-critical data and/or back up data that is held at their own sites for the purposes of disaster recovery.
BlueSquare Data has signed up a diverse range of over 30 customers in year one, from small SMEs to large PLCs, including the leading mapping site Streetmap.co.uk. In order to cope with the new business, it plans to increase its headcount by 30 per cent over the next couple of months.

Alongside the centre in Milton Keynes, the company also has facilities in Maidenhead, Berkshire and now employs 50 people across the Group.
