These 2 invitations confirm the major contributions of BMSystems to the field of integrative systems biology proving once more that integrative systems biology can deliver when respecting the 5 specific CADI* principles.
• Science: Systems Biology in psychiatric disorders: Dr. Christopher TURCK (Max Planck Inst. for Psychiatry, Munich) & Dr. François IRIS (BMSystems, Paris) are invited to co-present Pathways of Proteomics in depression - data and modeling at the 6th International Workshop on Computational Neuropsychiatry May 7-8, 2010 Alzheimer Saal Munich. Use this link for more information.
• Science/Education: Contribution to the education of future systems biology researchers. Dr. François Iris, CSO BMSystems, is invited to give three lectures and to participate to students' projects evaluations. The aim of the Training School is to provide a forum for students and young researchers working in on systems biology tools and methodologies and the opportunity to present their projects. This COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) program is supported by the European Science Foundation and financed by the European Commission. You are or you know students/young researchers interested by the topic or a company that would like to meet its potential future systems biology researchers, use this link for more information.
• Science/publication: Contribution to a reference book about CNS biomarkers: We invite you to read chapter 19 in "Biomarkers for Psychiatric Disorders" published by Springer (Chris W. Turck Ed; head of the Proteomics and Biomarkers branch at the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry [ISBN: 978-0-387-79250-7]) written by BMSystems scientists. This reference book was presented at the Neuroscience 2008 conference, held Nov. 15 to 19 in Washington, DC and was very well received.
For sustainable business, time to market is a critical issue. Why wait for the failure of your strategic internal R&D plan before starting your external Plan B?
Bio-Modeling Systems, a world leading R&D booster for life sciences discoveries, can help you save considerable time and resources immediately.
One opportunity to meet BMSystems' team in the United States. BMsystems (bmsystems.net) will participate to BiO Business forum partnering May 3-6, 2010 in Chicago. Do not hesitate to contact us for a meeting. Also, member of the R&D committee of Medicen world life science cluster, BMSystems will be present on UBIFRANCE booth 3712
