The 9th Annual Best Practices Symposium in Marco Island, Florida, co-sponsored by Store Opening Solutions and Koch Logistics, brought national retailers together to discuss best practices for the store opening and remodel process. Discussions among retail leaders included LEED for Retail, presented by Ken Buschle and Judah Rubin with the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council and the State of the Retail Supply Chain study results, presented by Dr. Brian Gibson from Auburn University.
“This year’s Symposium allowed our guests to gain information on new processes in the retail industry, as well as discuss challenges they are currently facing and the best approach to those challenges,” explains Chuck Cline, president of Store Opening Solutions.
“The event provided a way to interact with other retailers to discuss common challenges we currently face, as well as what might be on the horizon,” stated participants, “the information presented was very educational.”
