In his new role, Mr. Ostertag will be responsible for ActiFi’s technology research program. The program will provide the financial services community a first-of-its-kind comprehensive view of how technology interacts with and enables specific firm business objectives.
“Nathan is a great addition to the ActiFi team,” said Spenser Segal, ActiFi chief executive officer. “What our research program will accomplish is something that has never been done in the financial services industry, and Nathan’s research, planning, and marketing expertise is the perfect fit to lead our new division.”
Prior to joining ActiFi, Nathan was a Director of Market Analysis at UnitedHealth Group, and a Senior Manager in the Marketing Strategy, Planning, and Research department at Ameriprise Financial. He also has several years of experience as a financial advisor, and held FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses.
A native of Minnesota, Nathan earned a MSc from the London School of Economics in the UK, and a MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
