Flippers Pizzeria is expanding its passion for pizza to the residents of Lake County. The Orlando-based pizzeria opens its Clermont Crossings doors—located at U.S. 27 and Steve’s Road—on Monday, February 8 at 4 pm.
The 2,200 sq. ft. pizzeria is located in the heart of an expanding Clermont shopping area with spacious indoor seating for 70 and patio dining.
“Flippers Pizzeria continues to grow throughout Central Florida, and we’re excited to now serve Lake County,” said Flippers co-founder Todd Dennis. “We’ll be adding dozens of jobs to the area, while providing new customers with our authentic dishes seasoned with hand-chopped spices and extra virgin olive oil.”
The entrepreneurial spirit and passion for pizza shared by founders Todd Dennis and Scott Kousaie brought Flippers to Central Florida in 1987. Each Flippers pizza is made with fresh dough, hand-tossed and combined with the finest ingredients. It’s then cooked to perfection in the pizzeria’s signature brick ovens.
Flippers team members are dedicated to exceeding customer expectations and serving the perfect pizza in a friendly environment. That dedication has allowed the eatery to continue to grow in Central Florida.
In addition to Flippers’ authentic brick oven pizzas, customers can also choose from a variety of flatbreads, salads, wraps, wings, signature penne pastas and brick-fired sandwiches. For busy working families, home delivery is available. Take-out, catering and online ordering is also an option.
The Clermont Crossings location follows the opening of other new Flippers Pizzeria locations in the Orlando area, including the Rolling Oaks pizzeria in Kissimmee. Along with the new Lake County location, Flippers also has successful stores in Osceola and Orange counties including locations near Universal, Sea World and Disney.
The Flippers Pizzeria in Clermont is a showcase for the restaurant’s newly updated warm, casual design. The restaurant features an updated color palette with shades of tomato red, fresh greens, cream and tan. Seating options are varied, with tables, bar-height counters, booths and a red oak farmhouse table that seats parties of 12.
Customers can contact the new Flippers Pizzeria in Clermont Crossings at 352-242-2214. The hours are Sunday-Thursday 11 am to midnight and Friday-Saturday 11 am to 1 am.
