Karate International announced the opening of the newest branch location in Cary, North Carolina on Thursday, February 4, 2010. The Cary location at 250 Nottingham Drive, is a 4000 square foot facility.
This Cary location has partnered with two area businesses in an effort to cross market for their customers. RUaGamer (ruagamer.com), located at 218 Nottingham and Karate International of Cary will be combining efforts to offer Summer Camps in 2010. Similarly, Karate International and Kabuki Japanese Steakhouse at 220 Nottingham Drive in Cary will be working together for the annual Karate International meeting of Black Belts on February 21, 2010.
Karate International branches, located exclusively in the Triangle area of North Carolina, specialize in outstanding customer service for their members. The company mission is to recognize that each student is an individual and help them achieve their goals. Karate International has a curriculum based program with separate classes for children, teens and adults. They specialize in small classes in large facilities.
Karate International (karateinternational.net) has a thirty-six year history in North Carolina. It's first location opened in Raleigh in 1974. Although the Karate International locations of the Triangle area in North Carolina primarily teach Karate, many locations also offer Kendo, Jujitsu, Judo, Chanbara and Iaido. Karate International is also known for it's community service. They have over 20 Black Belts who currently provide free Women's Self Defense programs in their community. Many of the instructors have worked within their local school system to help "at risk" children.
