Boeing has recognized GPS Source, Inc. for their dedication and commitment to meet customer expectations by delivering a fully qualified GPS RS (Retransmission System) for the Boeing C-17 program per the contractual schedule. The GPS RS is a new and complex C-17 capability requiring full scale design, development, hardware/software aircraft integration and qualification. It will enable an end user to perform Joint Precision Airdrop Missions (JPADS) with greater ease and reliability.
Boeing said it was extraordinary accomplishment for a new supplier (GPS Source) to meet Boeing's goals.
