To help broaden your exposure, the Edison Chamber of Commerce is conducting a Social Media Networking Forum. This interactive event takes place at the New Jersey Convention and Exhibition Center on Thursday, February 11th from 8:00 to 9:30 AM.

The Forum will feature a hands-on demonstration of key social media technologies led by Dino Cicala, President of Captivate International. The presentation will focus on how to use Social Media resources to grow your business; and incorporate them into marketing campaigns. Barbara Roos, Edison Chamber President, notes that this is “fascinating” and stresses the importance of learning how to use social media channels because “you will never know enough about ever-changing technology.” Consumer behavior is changing and it is no longer sufficient for businesses of any size or industry to rely on marketing channels that are becoming outdated. Barbara summed up the effectiveness of advertising on sites because they “provide current, instant and brief bits of information for the busiest person.”

Advanced reservations are required to attend the Social Media Networking Forum and the event is open to all business professionals. The cost of the program is $15 for Chamber members and $25 for non members. Attendees will have the added benefit of networking with fellow business owners, and presenter Dino Cicala. A Continental breakfast will be provided.
