Business partners Robin Reining and Beth Lipscomb announce the launch of their new agency, Second Story Marketing. The business follows a “virtual agency” model, in an effort to provide competitive pricing and flexible scheduling, while tailoring its creative teams to clients’ individual needs. Second Story will provide a full range of services — from market research and analysis, to branding and website development.
“We are really excited to be starting a whole new endeavor,” said Reining. “We feel that our business model and our values are right for the times. With a core focus on understanding consumers’ changing needs — and using those insights to drive marketing efforts — we can ensure that our creative work is also relevant and strategic.”
Both partners have over a decade of experience working in the marketing industry, and each brings unique strengths to the agency. “Robin and I are a great balance for each other,” said Lipscomb. “She has a wealth of experience in identifying and developing strategic direction for major corporations — and I have worked on the creative end as a copywriter, executing such strategies. Plus, we’ve both been on the client services side of things, and we know how to manage projects efficiently and effectively. We’re real sticklers for being on-time and on-budget, and for providing excellent service, above all.”
As a virtual agency, Second Story can scale its team to the needs of each individual client. The partners have already established relationships with skilled production artists, top-notch art directors, social media strategists, writers, and others who can ensure outstanding-quality work on an as-needed basis. “This allows us to put the right skills to work for each client, without costly overhead, and without lengthy wait-times to get work completed,” said Reining.
