Adaptive Digital Technologies (Adaptive Digital) today announced the availability of two complete suites of industry standard, VoIP voice engine software for Android™, Google’s software stack for mobile devices. The fielded algorithms are provided as off-the-shelf algorithm sets, integration-ready for quick inclusion into an Android application. The VoIP voice engine components, anVoip and anVoice are packaged to supply either basic or enhanced voice capability to the Android-powered device.
AnVoip™ - VoIP voice engine for Android applications
The anVoip base configuration set consists of the algorithms essential to an Android voice application, including Adaptive Digital’s field-proven acoustic echo cancellation (AEC), G.711 voice codec, automatic gain control (AGC), and RTP protocol.
AnVoice™ - VoIP enhanced voice engine for Android applications
A complete suite of industry standard, VoIP voice engine software for Android. The anVoip base configuration set consists of the algorithms essential to an Android voice application, including Adaptive Digital’s field-proven acoustic echo cancellation (AEC), G.711 voice codec, automatic gain control (AGC), RTP protocol, Adaptive Jitter Buffer (AJB), Packet Loss Concealment and SIP.
Adaptive Digital voice application algorithms are the tools that Android VoIP application developers have been craving. Both anVoip and anVoice are delivered as linkable software libraries. Because of the CPU-intensive nature of voice algorithms such as acoustic echo cancellation, anVoip and anVoice run in native mode. AnVoip and anVoice are accessed via a simple Application Program Interface (API), allowing for easy integration into an Android VoIP application. This translates directly to time and money savings in development and support, while helping Android developers to bring a quality mobile VoIP product to market.
Adaptive Digital is world-leading provider of telecom and VoIP digital signal processing (DSP) software solutions. Adaptive Digital’s portfolio of voice application software includes voice and call quality enhancing algorithms, carrier-grade echo cancellation (line, network, packet and acoustic), tone generation, and RTP/SIP communication protocols, all of which are critical building blocks that are needed to bring VoIP to Android based products.
Algorithms may be added a-la-carte per a customer’s requirements, and custom application development by Adaptive Digital is available.
