SHP Leading Design is pleased to announce the launch two new iPhone Applications, EcoFlash® Green Interior Design & Construction (ID+C) and Ecoflash Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance (O+M). The flashcards are the third and fourth in a series of applications geared at helping people prepare for LEED exams.

In an effort to extend their commitment to educating not only their own employees, but also the professional community, SHP Leading Design has designed another revolutionary app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Building on the success of the previous EcoFlash applications, the new apps will help you study for the LEED AP Green Interior and Operations and Maintenance exams.

The new apps feature the same popular features of their predecessors. If you’re ready to start studying, touch “QuickStart” to randomly see 100 of the possible cards. If you’d like to better control what cards you see, tap the Categories menu to see all of the cards at once, to sort them by category, or to sort them by type of question.

A unique feature of EcoFlash is Leafmarks® - the equivalent of bookmarking a certain card the user would like to come back to. A Leafmark icon on each individual card can be toggled on or off. The icon on the user’s homescreen reminds him how many cards he has set aside.

To further aid the study process, EcoFlash (ecoflashapps.com) will re-order the flashcards for each new session or, the user can tell EcoFlash to remember where the previous session left off. Additionaly, EcoFlash allows the user to study by information category such as LEED Process or Water Management or by information type such as Facts and Figures or Referenced Standards. The user also has the ability to listen to music while studying from the app.
