Spotlight 29 Casino has added two new employees to their staff, it was announced today by Robert Paull, General Manager.
Jim Galvan has been named the IT Director at Spotlight 29 Casino. Galvan, originally from Minnesota, has over 14 years of IT experience. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Best Buy and United Health Group. Additionally, Galvan was a Software Consultant for Lifetouch, Inc, Weber Shandwick and others. Most recently, Galvan was the President of DataTram, a company in Boulder, CO, which he founded in 2002. Galvan currently resides in Indio.
Gary Gortz joins Spotlight 29 Casino as the new Director of Food and Beverage. Gortz has over 40 years of experience in the food industry. He has worked as both a chef and executive chef and has managed several fine restaurants before taking his new directors position. Gortz spent the last four years as the F&B Operations Manager for a local casino. He currently lives in Desert Hot Springs with his wife Mercedes and their 3-year old daughter Emily. He also has two grown children.
