The 2nd Annual SharePoint Saturday Virginia Beach will take place on January 9, 2010 at the Virginia Beach Advanced Technology Center. Mike Taylor, Innovative-e, Inc. president and CEO, will be leading a session titled, “Project Transparency Powered by SharePoint.” Innovative-e managing partner Dux Raymond Sy will be leading a session titled, “How to Effectively Utilize Microsoft Project 2010 With SharePoint 2010,” as well as a special half-day hands-on lab on how to use SharePoint in your organization. (Session requires separate registration.) Innovative-e will also give away one free admission pass to a two-day Innovative-e Delivering SharePoint Success Mentoring Workshop, which provides 12 hours of in-class personal mentoring and instruction in establishing executive buy-in, effectively planning and managing SharePoint projects, developing a governance and adoption plan and more.

Taylor specializes in solving business problems through project management, custom application development, and infrastructure and consulting services for the Global 2000.
Sy is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with more than 15 years of experience in IT and project management. Sy specializes in empowering organizations to leverage the benefits of SharePoint technologies with quantifiable goals, such as increase productivity and efficiency, decrease collaboration redundancies, and streamline electronic communications. He is also the author of SharePoint for Project Management: How to Create a Project Management Information System (PMIS) with SharePoint, published by O’Reilly Media.
SharePoint Saturday events are free and open to the public. A complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided. Raffle prizes will be awarded at the end of the day.
