Gateway Ticketing Systems has once again received recognition for Best New Product at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo, held in Las Vegas. This year the award was earned in the Technology Applied to Amusements category for the company’s newest product, eGalaxy Reseller Web Store.
eGalaxy Reseller Web Store is a Web-based Point of Sale application designed to automate the process of consignment ticket sales. A consignment, or reseller, program is based on an agreement with a contracted sales partner to make tickets available for purchase through the partner’s venue. Types of sales partners include military bases, hotels and grocery stores.
Gateway’s award-winning product provides increased control of consignment ticket sales by reducing the costs associated with reseller channels and increasing the efficiency and accuracy of reseller program management.
Major benefits of eGalaxy Reseller Web Store include a significant reduction in costs, wasted time and effort. Thanks to print-on-demand functionality, providing resellers with pre-printed tickets is no longer necessary, reducing both costs and risk. Other features include an automated reconciliation process that reduces hours of labor previously spent collecting and manually counting unused tickets. Up-to-the-minute sales reporting collects sales data and invoices resellers at regular intervals so revenue can be realized immediately instead of at the end of the season.
