Cloud enablement leader, Parallels, today announced that Tech Data Belgium will enter the Software as a Service (SaaS) market by offering the complete set of SMB services based on Parallels Automation software.
Parallels Automation, featuring Parallels Operations Automation and Parallels Business Automation, allows Fusyx, the new name of Tech Data’s SaaS offering, to automate all aspects of cloud service delivery, including flexible billing and customer self-service. Parallels Operations Automation delivers a complete end-to-end automation platform for them. It enables the delivery of hosted Microsoft Exchange, Windows SharePoint, Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS), BlackBerry services, shared hosting for Windows and Linux, VPS hosting based on Parallels Virtuozzo Containers, hosting Microsoft CRM and Windows media streaming. Parallels Business Automation complements this with complete ordering and billing.
Fusyx will work together with one of its partners Thynx, a leading Infrastructure as a Service provider based in St Niklaas, Belgium. Thynx will maintain, monitor and support the cloud services platform for Tech Data Belgium, the largest technology distributor in Europe, providing a range of multi-vendor solutions that their wide network of reseller partners can offer customers through the increasingly popular cloud model.
