As these awards were being announced, Thinking Worlds (thinkingworlds.com) was busy capturing the award for “Innovation in Learning” at the Learn Trends conference. This is an online conference that spans the globe and is run by some the US’s leading industry names. In presenting the award to Caspian, Jay Cross said that the tool was “really exciting, opened new opportunities and was just wonderful,” whilst George Siemens outlined the authoring tool’s simplicity of use and ability to create 3D immersive simulations for low cost and in a short timeframe as reasons why the tool was deserving of the award.
