TeamViewer GmbH, a leading provider of solutions for online communication and collaboration, has just released the beta version of TeamViewer 5. Already recognized as a premium desktop sharing solution, TeamViewer 5 brings a host of innovative features, including the latest VoIP and video conferencing technology, to their proven, user-friendly remote software.
Online communication, presentation and webinar software now has a new look, thanks to TeamViewer 5 beta. Designed to provide superior remote collaboration, virtual group work and attractive online sales support, and perfect to add a personal touch to any conference call, the TeamViewer desktop sharing software is now equipped with the latest in VoIP, video conferencing and online teamwork technology.
Audio transmission via VoIP is an integral part of TeamViewer 5. The beta version already allows users to include VoIP, with the click of a mouse, and discuss documents they are collaborating on via this web based solution. These VoIP calls can be backed by video transmission, as a webcam stream can now be transmitted directly with TeamViewer 5, making online teamwork more personal.
Specially designed for the TeamViewer presentation function, TeamViewer 5 includes an innovative and convenient back monitor. Like all TeamViewer functions, the back monitor is easily opened with a single click, and allows the presenter to clearly verify and observe exactly what viewers are watching on their screens.
Complementing the new software and ensuring online collaboration is efficient and effective, TeamViewer 5 also offers a conference call number. Participants can call the number and enter a pin, which will take them to a teleconference room where they can discuss their work in detail, via phone.
Based on widgets, each of the carefully designed TeamViewer 5 icons can be dragged to the preferred position on the screen, ensuring valuable screen space remains available for other important documents.
“Releasing the beta version of TeamViewer 5 is a very important step for us,” begins Holger Felgner, Product Manager of TeamViewer GmbH. “We are excited to bring video conferencing to our remote software solution as this will add a personal edge to online teamwork. With the beta version out, we are carefully assessing user feedback and will take all of this into account when finalizing TeamViewer 5 before the end of the year”.
Like all TeamViewer solutions, TeamViewer 5 beta respects the highest security standards, including black and white lists and AES 256 bit coding encryption. In addition, TeamViewer works behind firewalls, maintaining computer security already in place.
Free for non-commercial use, business licenses can be purchased in a variety of options from the TeamViewer Website.
