While there is obviously no safeguard against a breast cancer diagnosis, it is important for women to be aware of all of their options, as well as all the methods to avoid a diagnosis. Until now, there has been no preventative treatment for fibroadenoma. The only options for women have been watchful waiting or an invasive, surgical procedure to remove the fibroadenoma.
