G4S, the international security solutions group, announces that it has acquired an 83% shareholding in Control Systems Argentina S.A. (Control Systems), a security systems engineering company in Argentina, from Daniel Padró and Hernán Fernández.

Control Systems has more than 15 years’ experience in the security systems industry and is one of the leading local specialists in building protection and automation; developing high-tech control systems to integrate security, environmental comfort and energy consumption to promote operational efficiency.

The acquisition of this business enables G4S to expand its presence in the Argentine market where its local company (Search Organización de Seguridad S.A.) has operated for 39 years.

Control Systems has gross assets of USD 450,000.
