Embraer has concluded the implementation of Component Control’s Quantum ControlTM Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software at its five own Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) centers, worldwide. The agreement between the companies was announced in June 2007.
The first Embraer MRO facility to fully implement the Quantum software was Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Services (EAMS), in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S., in April 2008.
The two dedicated Embraer Executive Jets service centers in the U.S., in Mesa, Arizona, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which recently commemorated their first year of operations, also implemented the ERP solution in 2008. Quantum Control™’s integrated applications and easy-touse features enabled both centers to receive Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification, confirming Embraer’s commitment to become a major player in the business aviation market.
By early 2009, Embraer Aviation International (EAI), in Le Bourget, France, also had the system running. This month, the Embraer Service Center in Gavião Peixoto, Brazil, finished implementing the software, thus granting all of Embraer’s own service centers global standardization and integration.
