The authoring tool is divided into ‘Template Creation’ and ‘Skin Creation’ sections. The initial template creation will allow administrators to dictate the type and number of elements that they wish to incorporate into the screen area. These elements include a primary playlist, picture, flash, instant messaging, text, clock and banner fields. External sources such as weather information and RSS feeds can also be added.

The skin creation section of the software provides an easy second step where users can define the exact source for each of the defined zones. The customizing of these zones is then tailored to specific proportions through a simple drag-to-size mouse action within the work area. Using this tool, skins and screen layouts can be created for multiple screen resolutions.

Developed to maximize content delivery for digital signage systems, financial reports, weather forecasts and sports news can be played alongside branding or promotional graphic and text messages in any order desired by the administrator.

The 1-2-1VIEW digital signage solution is also capable of playing all conventional formats of video files including HD MPEG 2 & 4 and flash files as well as still all common still image and audio files.
