Actually it can do all the above and more all at the same time. The Jackal has 13 inputs at your disposal yet it is priced like a single channel device. Developed using the latest technologies and manufacturing techniques the Jackal meets the need not just for many monitoring tasks but it is also capable of batch control. Coupled with a flow meter and a shut-off solenoid the user can batch in confidence. The Jackal features in flight compensation ensure timing lag does not affect accuracy. Although the Jackal was designed for use on agricultural machinery it has broad application in many industrial applications for monitoring flow, pressure, temperature, RPM and level.
The Jackal is capable of monitoring ground speed via a GPS to elevate the effects of wheel slip. I connects to any GPS through an RS232 port.
High and low alarms can be set to warn operator of impending trouble with option for connection to an external siren or warning light.
The Jackal features a 64 x 128 graphic LCD display showing the main information in large bold characters and denominators as smaller icons with the display conveniently backlit for night work.
The Jackal operates of 12 volt dc needing only 200ma for automotive applications but also making it simple to run it of a wall ac adaptor.
