Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, 2009/09/10 - Registration of participants of the VI Bishkek International Banking Conference to be held in Bishkek on September 23-25 of 2009 is underway. Most participants came from the USA, Europe and Russia - BIBC.kg / Pharmaco.kg.

For the second year in a row the conference will be held in the format of Central Asian Dialogue. Among the speakers will be a lot of famous analysts and Western business community’s representatives such as Senator Donald Riegle, Chairman of APCO Worldwide; Mr. Martin Born, Eastern Europe and CIS Director, Euromoney; Mr. Emmanuel Daniel, President and Editor in Chief of The Asian Banker: Mr. Istvan Lenguel, General Secretary of the Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe (BACEE) and many others.
BIBC is organized by the Kyrgyz Banks Union, Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe (BACEE), The Asian Banker publication and Moscow International Currency Association with informational media support of Euromoney, Global Finance, The Banker, The Asian Banker, EMEA Finance, BNE and other outlets.
The conference will become a platform for establishing a business contacts between foreign investors, financiers and major entrepreneurs of the Central Asian region.
Central Asian Dialogue represents a place for discussing different topical issues of regional economies and their development, as well as growing potential of banking products new to the market, such as mobile banking, remittances, trade financing, microfinancing, etc.
Bishkek International Banking Conference (bibc.kg) has been held annually in the Kyrgyz capital since 2004. It is a meeting place for global business community representatives, local and international mass media and analysts.
“Positioning of Central Asia as a single prospective emerging market is a key element in achieving of stability and permanent growth of economy in this region. This makes event drastically important”, noted Senator Bennett Johnston of Johnston & Associates, at the 2008 conference.
This year Central Asian Dialogue will be held at Bishkek Hyatt Regency hotel located at 191, Abdyrakhmanova St.
Registration for the conference will be promptly concluded on September 20.
