The On-Premise Edition of the DocuPub Platform is for enterprises seeking to embed secure document viewing, control and tracking functionality into websites or applications, including web, mobile and desktop, with the IT infrastructure to process and store its documents in-house. The new release contains several new features and technical enhancements resulting in faster and easier application integration.
Vuzit offers both software-as-a-service (SaaS) and deployed versions of the Vuzit DocuPub Platform, a standards-based development platform with open source client libraries and a 100% AJAX document viewer that is natively supported in all major web browsers. There are no plug-ins, such as Adobe® Flash®, to install or update to view documents online with the Vuzit DocuPub Platform, saving development time and improving the end user experience.
New features include:
• Print PDF-- Convert non-PDF document types to PDF files for downloading and printing;
• Image File Format Support-- PNG, JPG, GIF, TIFF, BMP;
• Web Services APIs-- Upload, delete, and retrieve document information for application integration via PHP and Ruby client libraries;
• Vuzit.Net Library for Microsoft .NET-- Upload and manage documents directly from any .NET application; language support includes C#, Visual Basic.NET (VB.NET), JavaScript (JScript.NET), LUA, Pascal and Python;
• Enhanced Dashboard User Interface-- Manage documents and debug applications faster and more easily;
• MySQL Database Support--The world’s most popular open source database.
