Maersk Line would like to announce rate increases on our Asia services to the West Coast of South America.
The trading conditions for the carriers operating in these markets are still subject to unacceptable rate levels and the situation is unsustainable in the longer term. The rate increases are necessary to continue to operate our services with the high level of reliability our customers have come to expect from Maersk Line.
Asia to the West Coast of South America
• USD 300 per 20’ dry container effective 19 September 2009
• USD 600 per 40’ dry container effective 19 September 2009.
Rate increases in the West Coast of South America to Vietnam trade
Maersk Line would like to announce rate increases on our West Coast of South America services to Vietnam.
The trading conditions for the carriers operating in these markets are still subject to unacceptable rate levels and the situation is unsustainable in the longer term. The rate increases are necessary to continue to operate our services with the high level of reliability our customers have come to expect from Maersk Line.
West Coast of South America to Ho Chi Minh
• USD 70 per 20’ dry container effective 1 September 2009
• USD 150 per 40’ dry container effective 1 September 2009
West Coast of South America to Haiphong
• USD 150 per 20’ dry container effective 1 September 2009
• USD 300 per 40’ dry container effective 1 September 2009
